Usability enhancements and a new time slots option for events listings are on the way. Watch for the following changes beginning Feb 1:
Usability enhancements
Patrons will now be able to determine whether there are openings for events that require registration on the event listing and calendar pages.
If registration is full, the Register button will be replaced with this message: "Sorry, registration is full. Please check back later." If registration is full but there is room available on a waiting list, the button will be labeled: "Waiting List". In addition, the tan Register Online button will change to "Register Now" and will be larger making it easier to select on mobile devices. For libraries with local stylesheets implemented the button's appearance will match other form submit buttons on your site. Do you offer events, like Read to a Dog, where you book multiple time slots during a single event? If so, you might be interested in the new time slots option. When using this option you specify a starting time, duration, number of slots and number of patrons per slot. When patrons register they select from an open time slot. The waiting list feature is also available allowing staff to assign patrons to slots as cancellations are received.
